BPA Board Agenda: Tuesday 2008 January 15

Location: Staff Lounge, Barron Park Elementary School

Guests are welcome, but are requested to notify the BPA President so that arrangements can be made to accommodate you (seating and possibly reordering of the agenda).

Questions about agenda item should be directed to the person/people whose contact information is attached to that entry. Comments about items can be sent to that person, or the whole BPA Board.

    Election of President, Vice President, and Secretary (John King was elected Treasurer in November). Current Nominations: President: Lynnie Melena

    The Block Preparedness Coordinator program.

    Candidates for committee chair and other major contributors.

  9. Donkey Calendar Sale review (10 minutes) Lynnie Melena
    The Barron Park donkeys are not an activity of the BPA. However, they are a neighborhood institution and the BPA provides publicity and other support for the donkey handlers. The Donkey Calendars was an instance of this, both as a fund-raiser and as a product of local interest. The BPA loaned/advanced the organizer funds for the printing (paid back from early sales).

  10. BPA Email List transition (15 minutes) Doug Moran
    Opportunity for Q&A and suggestions on transitioning the BPA email lists to Google Groups.
  11. On-going activities: Questions or comments (20 minutes)
    Status reports and updates on these items are being handled primarily through e-mail. Opportunity for direct interactions (e.g., scheduling conflicts)
